We provide diagnostic, therapeutic and aesthetic services to enhance the health and beauty of your skin in the beautiful Northern California City of Sonoma. Dr Robin Alexander Knuttel, our Medical Director, has been trained in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. She was mentored by Dr Vera Price in the evaluation and management of hair disorders at UCSF during the senior year of her Dermatology Residency at UCDavis. She gained two years of additional expertise in cosmetic and laser medicine at UCDavis in the Division of Plastic Surgery. She has performed more than 11,000 BOTOX© procedures and 900 filler procedures in Sonoma and performs all cosmetic and laser treatments in our center personally.

Dr Knuttel is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the UCDavis Department of Dermatology. She teaches students and physicians on topics of hair loss, nail disorders, acne and cosmetic procedures. The goal of our Dermatology and Laser Center is to provide general and preventative dermatology services to our community. For the ease of care for many of our patients, three of our staff members speak Spanish fluently (el médico está aprendiendo a hablar español!) We additionally offer:

2. Cosmetic treatments like BOTOX®, Xeomin®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Radiesse®
   
3. Laser treatments with our GentleLASE, VBeam Perfecta, GYAG and FRAXEL re:pair lasers
   
4. Skin care consultations and aesthetic Services in the Sonoma Skin Health and Beauty Center
   
5. The latest & most effective skin care products & mineral based makeup
   
6. The Community Education Seminar Series that focuses on health and wellness topics like acne and rosacea, skin cancer, women’s health, nutrition, exercise, and men’s health. Held in our Health and Beauty Center, these interactive and informative sessions are brief, fun to attend and feature Q & A, raffle prizes, gift certificates, appetizers, wine, coffee and desserts.
   
7. Each year in May we offer free skin cancer screenings to our community. To date, we have screened more than 500 patients and have detected 3 melanomas, 12 squamous cell carcinomas, 21 basal cell carcinomas and numerous premalignant skin lesions
   
8. In July we will sponsor our annual charity fashion show that this year will feature Goode Rider Equestrian fashion to benefit the Lyon Ranch: Animal Rescue and Animal Assisted Therapy
